The next generation Mahindra Scorpio will have disc brakes on all four corners, according to the spy-images surfaced on social media. The new SUV looks spacious and offers a different look.

The vehicle bases itself on a ladder frame chassis while having a typical Mahindra grille. It also gets twin-pod headlamps. At the rear, it offers a side-hinged tailgate.
Besides integrated turn indicators, the vehicle also has roof rails, side steps, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. Unlike XUV500, the new Mahindra Scorpio offers pull-type door handles to its occupants.
The vehicle is likely to take energy from a 2.0-liter diesel engine, which could be able to produce 158 BHP. The engine may be accompanied by a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
