Ola has rolled out its very first Ola Electric scooter. Its CEO Bhavish Aggarwal on Sunday announced that the much-awaited electric scooter has been finally rolled out by Ola Futurefactory based in Tamil Nadu.
This is the first e-scooter to have come out of the factory within six months from the start of building phase one of the EV maker’s plant.
Moreover, this E-scooter is likely to be launched in two variants – S1 and S1 Pro. Ola also claims that its Ola Scooter is the most pre-booked scooter in the world. The bookings for Ola’s first electric scooter are still open and the company is charging a token amount of Rs 499 for the bookings.
As per the company, the bookings crossed the threshold of 1-lakh bookings in just the first 24 hours.
The Ola Scooter will also have keyless experience. Not only this, but the e-scooter will also get a reverse mode which should make it easier to manoeuvre it in tight spaces.
The good news is that the ola e scooter will come with the largest boot space in its segment.
