The Indian consumer in the recent years has showcased keen interest in safety ratings of the cars and its this keen interest that sometimes end up saving their life. In a recent incident shared by Nikhil Rana a Tata Nexon EV hits a tree in speeds upward of 60kmph, the driver was saved in the accident only due to the robust safety features of the car.
The car was in favorable speeds when a stray cow barged in front of the vehicle, to dodge the cow car took a sharp turn and the car hit tree . During the accident there were 3 passengers in the car and all of them escaped with minimal injuries. Always remember to fasten seat belts at the rear as well as the NCAP ratings are ascertained keeping the rear seat belts fastened.
The images of the sight of accident showcase how the whole car was bashed up while the cabin withstood all the damage without being compromised. This is where the ingenious engineering of Tata motors comes into play as they developed the cabin in such a way it could take all the damage dissipate the energy of the impact efficiently to keep the integrity of the cabin intact.

Tata Nexon EV GNCAP scores
Tata cars have been profound in safety quotient all their cars have received phenomenal 4 star 5 star ratings in adult occupancy. Tata Nexon EV hasn’t been tested by the GNCAP but its conventional cousin gets 5 star safety ratings in the Adult occupancy department and 3 star safety rating in the Child safety department. But the pedal show some risk for the driver during impact due to their displacement as reported by the GNCAP.
