Published Date:

Tata has finally brought to the market the long awaited Nexon EV Max, the car has received a tremendous response and is going to be a close competition to the likes of MG ZS EV as well as the Hyundai KONA. Here are the 5 highlights about the Nexon EV Max that you probably missed out on.

Nexon EV max launched

-The Nexon EV max is completely identical to the older Nexon with the differences lying beneath the surface with a bigger battery pack as well as new features such as Wireless charging added to the cabin. Tata Engineers have engineered the vehicle in such a way that even with a apparent 30% bigger battery pack installed the vehicle hasn’t faced any compromise in space available in the boot or the cabin. The car doesn’t get any special badges to differentiate it from the conventional Nexon , but it gets new shades of color that would differentiate it.

-The Nexon EV max has a 30% lager battery than the conventional Neon Ev, hence the vehicle is able to achieve a ARAI certified range of 400km’s, in the real worlds the vehicle would be able to do about 330 km’s per charge, still higher than the range offered by The Nexon EV.

-The Nexon Ev max offers a peak torque figure of about 250NM and 143 HP, as according to the claims made by Tata the EV can reach the top speed of about 100kmph in just under 9 seconds.

-The Nexon EV max is claimed to charge faster than the older Nexon as its delivered with an optional 7.2KW AC charger . The new charger on offer can charge the vehicle to a 100% in only about 6 to 7 hours. The standard 3.3Kw charger is also available , which charges the vehicle to a 100% in double the time. As according to the  claims the Nexon EV max can get to a 80% charge in 56 minutes but on a 50KW Dc Fast charger, and how many of them do we have in India only TATA can answer.
