Tata brought all the attention towards itself as it announced over Twitter a launch and a invitation for April 29th global event. The car to be unveiled is kept a secret. The Invitation reads a new space denoting the Brands dynamic movement towards EV mobility.
Tata hasn’t brought any info about the cars to be unveiled, keeping it a tightly knit secret to bring a current of curiosity in the market. The Brand was quick to react to the Ev wave of vehicles being the first to adapt to the new drive trains with its conventional models. The Nexon ev as well as the Tigor ev took over the market in a frenzy as at the time there was a profound dearth of electric vehicles. but as competition has brought newer cars into the market let’s see what new offering would Tata bring to the market now.
Although according to the Reports it is believed that Tata Is about to being to the market either the Tata Altroz electric or the much awaited Nexon EV long range. Whatever it would be, it would be a better development than the ones of the past that’s for sure.

The Tata Altroz was showcased in its EV format at the Geneva Motor show and the Indian Auto expo 2020 as well. Info about the Drivetrain of the vehicle or the capacity haven’t surfaced anywhere yet ,however according to reports the Altroz might share the same electric Drivetrain as the Nexon EV with 30.2KWH Lithium –Ion battery pack coupled with a electric motor.
The Drive train develops about 129 Horse power and a peak torque of about 245NM with a driving range of 312km’s, the expected long range Nexon EV would get a 40KWH battery pack that would be capable of delivering a 400km range. Tata has announced its cumulative plans for the future , there being about 10 Ev launches planned across different segments for the next five years.
