Tata motors have gained a formidable advantage in the EV sector in the recent times, but the brand seems to be in a pursuit to gain the maximum share in the EV market. As reported by AutoCar India Tata is all set to launch a new concept car In an event it has raised curtains for in tweets . The new EV concept to be based on Tata’s new Born Electric platform which would allow the automaker to provide different body style in different segments of the market, with two and three seating row configurations with similar underpinnings. These could be developed to hit the road by 2025.
The Concept to be Revealed
The Concept about to be revealed as according to AutoCar is a 7 seater Tata safari like SUV which would be efficient in showcasing the versatility of Tata’s electric skateboard platform. The concept has been designed following an inside out approach giving the priority to the interior. This would allow the interior to be full of room . AutoCar compared the concept to that of Audi’s Urbansphere.
The exterior design too would harness changes due to the newly found platform which would allow the automaker to design without the constraints of the IC engine based architecture. Such skateboard concepts would provide automakers with ample of room to pack batteries, providing longer wheel bases and flat floors to the comfort of the user.

Tata to bring in a new logo
The electric concept would be the only thing to get revealed on the Friday as there have been rumors of Tata bringing a new emblem for its EV producing arm. According to the reports by AutoCar the emblem would be an illuminated T stretching right across the facade of the car. A novelty piece for you to fall for.
One of the first products to be converted to EV’S would be Tata harrier and safari , as the current platform they are based on is complex to be converted to full on electric powertrain.
Tata is all set to unveil the new creation, the unveiling part being handed over to the chairman MR N Chandrasekaran with profound respect. This new EV concept to bring Tata more global attention as the concept could also be shared with JLR to further produce and develop global electric offerings.
Future plans
Tata has a three platform EV strategy for EV market, the advantage the brand has amassed in the EV department is not to dissolute any time soon as the brand is on it’s A game with reveals like the Curvv Concept last month and Nexon Ev Long Range scheduled for a launch next month.
