The BYD Atto 3 electric SUV’s price has just been revealed by Chinese electric vehicle company BYD. The BYD Atto 3 is much more expensive than the Hyundai Kona (priced between 23.84 and 24.03 lakh) and the MG eZS (priced between 22.58 and 26.6 lakh), two electric SUVs with whom it is in direct competition.
The BYD Atto 3 has been accepting reservations for a while, and more than 1,500 people have already reserved the electric SUV. There are four colour options for the electric SUV: Parkour Red, Boulder Grey, Ski White, and Surf Blue. The electric SUV will start to be delivered in January 2023, and all BYD India outlets in the nation have the BYD Atto 3 on display. Additional features of the BYD-Atto 3 include the L2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), BYD Dipilot, 7 airbags, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch (32.5cm) adaptive rotating screen, a 360-degree holographic transparent imaging system, an NFC card key, and a Vehicle to Load (VTOL) mobile power station.
The Blade battery, known for operating safely in all weather situations, is used in the BYD Atto 3. The SUV is built on BYD’s third-generation born-electric platform, thereby indicating that it was created as an electric vehicle from the ground up. It has an electric motor that generates 201 Bhp and 310 Nm, and it can accelerate from a complete stop to 100 Kph in just 7.3 seconds. The largest in its market, the electric motor is powered by a battery pack with a 60.48 kWh capacity. The Atto 3 should be able to travel between 370 and 400 kilometres easily in real-world situations because it has an ARAI certified range per charge of 521 kilometres.
Although the BYD Atto 3 outperforms rival models like the MG eZS and Hyundai Kona in terms of performance specs, many people may be hesitant to purchase this SUV due to its high asking price. BYD will rely on the robust feature set to draw customers. The electric SUV includes a Vehicle to Load (VTOL) mobile power station, a 12.8-inch (32.5cm) adaptable rotating screen, a 360° holographic clear image system, 7 airbags, a panoramic sunroof, and the L2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) BYD Dipilot.

Additional features for the BYD-Atto 3 include wireless charging for smartphones, a one-touch electric tailgate, an 8-speaker audio system, electric seat adjustment, voice control, and multi color gradient ambient lighting that changes colours in time to the beat of the music, PM 2.5 air filter, CN95 air filter, etc.

A 7kW home charger and installation service are included with the BYD-Atto 3, along with a 3kW portable charging unit, a 3-year free 4G Data subscription, a 6-year roadside assistance plan, and six years of free maintenance.
A warranty of 8 years or 1.6 lakh kilometres (whichever comes first) is also being offered by BYD Atto 3 for the traction battery, 8 years or 1.5 lakh kilometres for the motor and the motor controller, and 6 years or 1.5 lakh kilometres for the vehicle.
