Tvs motor company launched its electric iQube electric with a starting price of 98,564 , the scooter has got a value addition of two more variants iQube S and iQube ST. The customers with a keen interest in the iQube can book it online today , while they would have to wait for the iQube ST which right now is being pre-booked.
Different Charger Options
As according to the TVS professionals iQube design has been inspired by three elements Choice comfort and Simplicity of operability, customers would have a wide range of features available to them along the three variants and can choose the best for them based on their needs. The scooters are differentiated on the basis of space ,range storage , colors and connectivity features. TVs has managed to even provide a choice in the chargers with all three 650KW,950KWand 1.5KW available across the variants.
Range /Top speed
While the base and the iQube S variant gets the range of 100km’s the ST version would get an range of 140Km’s on a single charge. The range across all three variants being higher than the older version of the Ev scooter. Both the base and the middle spec variant would get a top speed of 75Kmph while the ST version would top out at 82KMph.
Features Across Variants
The TVS iQube , gets a 5 – Inch TFT display, with turn to turn navigation assist and is available in three colors with an 3.4kwh motor. The mid-level iQube S also gets 100km range, but is equipped with a larger 7-inch TFT display. Colour options for the iQube S include Mercury Grey Glossy, Mint Blue, Lucid Yellow and Copper Bronze Glossy.
The top-spec iQube ST, meanwhile, has a claimed range of up to 140km on a full charge, a 7-inch touchscreen display with a new user interface, more under seat storage (32 litres) and fast charging capability at 1.5kW. The iQube ST can be had in Starlight Blue Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy and Copper Bronze Matte paint shades.
Smart Connectivity Features
Apart from TVS’ Smart Xonnect platform, the TVS two wheelers would also get Alexa connectivity, which enables owners to ask about their iQube’s charge level using their Alexa devices at home. TVS has commenced production of the updated iQube and is working on expanding the electric scooter’s reach from 33 cities to a total of 85 cities.
The iQube continues to be powered by a 4.4kW electric motor, which is enough to propel the scooter from 0-40kph in 4.2secs. As before, the iQube gets two riding modes, Economy and Power, and also comes with a reverse mode
