TVS NTorq 125 Race XP edition launched in India

Homegrown bike manufacturers TVS has launched NTorq 125 XP in India. The bike starts at Rs 83.275 (ex-showroom). The special edition model comes into new colour schemes and offers two riding modes.

The new edition model of the popular 125 cc scooter doesn’t offer mechanical changes. It takes power from the same 124.8cc single-cylinder engine. According to the manufacturer, the engine’s gas flow dynamic and combustion processes have been changed. This is why this special edition model promises to generate 0.81 bhp more than its standard predecessor.

“TVS NTorq 125 has redefined the expectation from a scooter in India – it ushered in the age of the exciting, powerful, connected scooter for the always-connected Gen Z. Mindful of this, we are happy to introduce the TVS Norq 125 Race XP. It comes armed with the highest power in the segment, first-in-segment dual ride modes, delivering higher top speed and superior acceleration. This is made possible through our continuous advancements in engineering and pursuit of consumer delight, like engine breathing and combustion optimisation and usage of advanced engineering polymers, high strength steel and other alloys leveraging continuous computer-aided design simulation. The TVS SMARTXONNECT connectivity platform gets industry-first Voice Assist – now your NTORQ responds to your command(s). A new look with red alloys complements the offering. Crafted for those in the “always-on” GenZ, who love to rev it up, the array of best-in-class connectivity and vehicle features coupled with segment-first 10.2 PS power will excite the Gen Z,” Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President (Marketing), Commuter Motorcycles, Scooters and Corporate Brand, TVS Motor Company, said while talking about the new special edition model.

The TVS NTORQ 125 Race XP edition model comes with an updated SmartXonnect connectivity system and voice assist. The voice assists feature empowers riders to use the connectivity features via voice commands. The system accepts 15 different voice commands. The Race XP’s motor produces 10.06 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 10.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
