Unveiling the 2023 Hyundai Verna teaser: A step above in luxury and space

Published Date:

On March 21, 2023, the next-generation Hyundai Verna will debut in India. The mid-sized vehicle is now available for booking at a low cost of Rs 25,000. Hyundai has released a new teaser film for the Verna, marketed as the Accent in international markets and as the Accent in India.

2023 With various revisions to its outward composition, the Hyundai Verna debuts with Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design. Although the interiors have not been fully described as of yet, estimates indicate that they could also undergo significant alterations in terms of comfort and style.

Hyundai Verna 2023: A Standard of Luxury and Spaciousness

The new Verna’s design has been one of the most talked-about aspects of the vehicle. It has received both praise and criticism. The design aesthetic is entirely different from the Verna of the previous generation. The distinctive LED DRLs in both the front and back draw attention to these design upgrades.

The most recent Verna 2023 teaser depicts the vehicle’s LED DRLs on both the front and rear of the vehicle. We can also see how much room there is for the rear passengers. According to Hyundai, the new Verna establishes new standards for luxury and space. See the teaser down below. It’s interesting to note that Hyundai released this new Verna teaser only a short time after Honda Motors India unveiled the refreshed City.

New-gen Four trim levels of the Verna will be available: EX, S, SX, and SX (O). The exterior design has changed, as seen in new pictures, which particularly highlight the front and back lighting features. It has a connected light feature up front, where three thin DRL panels are arranged in a connected beam that spans the width of the bonnet. The Grandeur and Sonata models share this particular characteristic as well.

A redesigned grille and LED headlamps are two more front design features. From A Pillars to C Pillars, it gains athletic creases on its sides. In addition, Hyundai has upgraded its LED tail lamps and added a light bar that spans the length of its boot. Its exterior features will also include body-colored faux skid plates, new alloy wheels, sharp wheel arches, and a sunroof.

Specifications and specs for the 2023 Hyundai Verna

Verna’s measurements for 2023 have likewise been made public. It is 1765 mm wide, 1475 mm tall, and 4535 mm long. Wheelbase is 2670mm long. 528 litres of boot space is the most in the segment. Interiors in beige and black with dual tones will be available for the brand-new Hyundai VERNA.

Advanced Driver Assistance System, or ADAS, will be installed. This provides security features including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, front collision warning, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, etc. The cheapest trims will come standard with a total of 4 airbags, while top-spec cars will come with 6 airbags. TPMS, front parking sensors, ESP, and traction control will also be included as features. A new infotainment system with a larger touchscreen and BlueLink connected car technology will also be featured in the 2017 Verna in addition to these other changes. A brand-new digital instrument cluster will be included.

The Hyundai Verna 2023 is advertised as a gasoline-only vehicle. A 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 115 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual or an IVT transmission, would provide power for the base EX and S grades. The 1.5 litre turbo-petrol engine in the SX and SX(O) will produce 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque and will be coupled to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automated transmission. These two engines both meet the new RDE and E20 standards.

The new Verna could cost between Rs 60,000 and Rs 1 lakh more than the outgoing model in terms of price. Price estimates range from Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 19 lakh (ex-showroom). The Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, recently updated Maruti Ciaz, and soon-to-be-released Honda City facelift will all continue to be competitors.
