Unveiling the upcoming Renault Duster: 2024 edition

Published Date:

Renault, a French automaker, is getting ready to unveil the Duster for 2024 very soon. A test mule for the future SUV was recently spotted doing trials, although in a camouflaged form.

Although the tough four-wheeler was instrumental in popularising the sub-4m market in India, Hyundai CRETA eventually overtook it for the top rank.

Why is this story important?

In 2013, Renault debuted the capable Duster SUV in India. The sub-4m class gained popularity on our shores solely as a result of the automobile.

The market, however, quickly changed with the entry of competitors like the Hyundai CRETA and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.

The corporation is already preparing the 2024 version of the formerly well-liked model in an effort to retake the top rank.

SUV will get new wheels and a big grille

The Renault Duster will use the Dacia Bigster concept’s exterior design language in 2024.

It will have a tall, chiselled bonnet, a large grille with chrome accents, a windscreen that is sloped, headlights that are squared off with Y-shaped DRLs, roof rails, ORVMs, and new alloy wheels.

On the back end, options include a roof-mounted spoiler and LED taillights.

It will have an advanced entertainment system and automatic climate control

The five or seven-seater Renault Duster’s cabin is anticipated to be roomy and have ambient lighting, an automatic climate control system, a wireless charger, a sunroof, and a multifunctional steering wheel in 2024.

The revamped SUV will include a modern big touchscreen infotainment system with the newest connectivity features, as well as a digital instrument cluster.

Several airbags and ADAS features should be used to ensure the safety of passengers.

It will be supported by strong powertrain choices

The Duster model’s technical specifications have not yet been released by Renault. Yet, we anticipate that the tough SUV will be propelled by either a fuel-efficient diesel engine or a turbo-petrol engine. A moderate hybrid system should be connected to both mills.

What will the price of the Renault Duster be in 2024?

Renault is currently testing the brand-new Duster, but we anticipate seeing the finished, production-ready model shortly.

In India, the SUV should conceivably make a comeback, about the beginning of 2024.

We anticipate that the tough four-wheeler would cost more than the now-discontinued model, which was available here in our country for a starting price of Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
