Hyundai Creta continues to rule the country’s mid-size SUV market at the moment. It has long held the top spot as the segment’s best-selling vehicle. A few months ago, Maruti Suzuki and Toyota entered this market, but they were unable to significantly hurt the Creta. Honda is now going to try its hand in such a predicament. The corporation will shortly launch its mid-size SUV in the nation. The business unveiled the concept art for this forthcoming SUV on Monday.
Specs and features
The Honda SUV is depicted from the front and side in the teaser sketch. In terms of design, it appears to be rather bold. It has a large front grille and LED DRLs. Under the bumper are fog lights as well. There will also be an LED arrangement for the headlights and taillights. In addition to this, it will come with high ground clearance and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The SUV’s roof rails are also seen in the teaser shot. There will be a lot of features in the interiors as well. With a touchscreen interface, options like a wireless phone charger, a sunroof, and ambient lighting can be provided.
What time will it launch?
The Honda City, Honda City Hybrid, WR-V, Jazz, and Amaze are some of the current models offered by Honda in India. Due to dismal sales, the business had ceased production of the premium CR-V SUV and Civic luxury sedan. Now that RDE (Realtime Driving Emission) rules will be in force starting in April, the business may stop making several diesel vehicles. At a time when several competitors are placing significant bets on SUVs, Honda will likewise launch its own car. It will probably debut in the second half of 2023.
