It is World Environment Day today, and we are sharing details of some environment-friendly, carbon emission-free electric vehicles that are available in the Indian market.
Tata Nexon EV
Tata Motors has already launched the most affordable electric SUV, Tata Nexon EV. The price of the SUV is Rs 6 to 7 Lakh cheaper than MG ZS EV. It comes with a 30.2 kWh battery that promises to cover a distance slightly over 300KM on a single charge.
The car also gets two driving modes-Drive and Sports. A Permanent Magnus Synchronous Motors also comes equipped with the car, which promises to deliver 129PS of power and 245NM of torque. The car takes around 8.5 hours for full recharge through a 15A socket.
MG ZS EV
ZS EV was launched by MG motors in India. It receives power from a 44.5kWH, liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery. The car promises to cover a distance of 340KM. The motor equipped with the car delivers 143bhp and 353NM of torque.
According to the automaker, the car can catch the speed of 100kmph within 8.5 seconds. The ZS EV also offers three driving modes-Eco, Normal, and Sports. It has a 50kW fast charger that promises complete 80 percent charging within 50 minutes.
According to this list, Kona Electric was the first to enter India. It comes with a 32.2-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion polymer battery that promises to offer a range of 452km. The EV also gets four driving modes-Eco+, Eco, Comfort, and Sport.
