The latest version of Yamaha FZ-X recently arrived in India and boasts new technologies such as the Y-Connect app with smartphone connectivity.
The Japanese bike maker has introduced two different versions of the neo-retro commuter motorcycle.
The company had last year registered the name FZ-X in India, following which they had been developing the bike. As the name suggests, the Yamaha FZ-X is based on the company’s naked motorcycle FZ.

Now, the latest piece of information regarding the Yamaha FZ-X is that it has started arriving at the dealerships. We came across some pictures and video that show the motorcycle at a dealership.

An account named mrd_vlogs have shared the video and pictures of Yamaha FZ-X on their Instagram handle. The video shows the bikes in different shades parked outside what appears to be a dealership.

Price
The price of standard variant is Rs 1,16,800 (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the FZ-X version with smartphone connectivity is priced at Rs 1,19,800 (ex-showroom).

Engine
The bike packs a 149cc engine from the Yamaha FZ series. The single-cylinder engine develops a maximum power of 12.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque of 13.3 Nm. It should be noted that both variants have the same frame and that the curb weight of the motorcycle is 139 kg.

Features
The Yamaha FZ-X features the Y-Connect app, which can be used to get notified about an incoming call and other mobile notifications. The app also displays the battery charge indicator along with details such as fuel consumption as well as malfunction alerts.

The bike offers an upright seating position that appears sportier than its predecessors. Hence, it is a viable option for touring as well as city use.
