The Hero XPulse 200 comes fitted with a 199.6 cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine, which generates 17.8 bhp at 8500 rpm and 16.45 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm.

The bike gets a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The Hero XPulse comes with a 276 mm disc brake at the front and 220 mm disc brake at the rear.
