BMTC Launches 4 New Bus Routes Connecting Key Areas in Bengaluru
These new routes are expected to greatly benefit passengers, offering more efficient and convenient travel options.
Bengaluru, September 2: The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has introduced four new bus routes to enhance connectivity for commuters, particularly those traveling between Tumakuru Road and Mysuru Road, as well as providing better access to key city entry points. These new routes are expected to greatly benefit passengers, offering more efficient and convenient travel options.
The new routes include services between Nelamangala and Sumanahalli Junction, and between Nelamangala and Kengeri Bus Station. More than 12 buses will operate on these routes, making over 70 trips daily. The BMTC has provided detailed schedules and route information in an official release.

Route: Nelamangala to Sumanahalli Junction
Key Stops: Sondekoppa, Tavarekere, Sunkadakatte

Departure from Nelamangala: Starts at 5:00 AM with buses at intervals until 8:15 PM
Departure from Sumanahalli Junction: Starts at 5:00 AM with buses at intervals until 8:25 PM

Route: Nelamangala to Kengeri Bus Station
Key Stops: Madanayakanahalli, Gangondanahalli, Kachohalli, Gollarahatti, Kannalli, Sulikere

Departure from Nelamangala: Every 30 minutes from 5:00 AM to 8:25 PM
Departure from Kengeri Bus Station: Every 30 minutes from 5:00 AM to 8:45 PM

Route: Yeshwanthpur Bus Station to Railway Gollahalli via Jalahalli Cross, Makali, and Huskur
Departure: Buses will run at scheduled intervals connecting major railway stations.
BMTC New Bus Route 4:
Route Number: 401RA**
Route: RA Chikkegowdanapalya to Yeshwanthpur via Srinivaspura Cross, Halgevadderahalli, Vijayanagar, and Rajajinagar 1st Block
Departure: Buses will operate every 30 minutes from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
These new routes are part of BMTC's ongoing efforts to improve public transportation in Bengaluru by addressing the needs of commuters and enhancing accessibility across the city.
