Internal Conflict in Congress Blamed for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Current Predicament Claims HD Kumaraswamy

Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy has levied serious allegations against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, attributing his current troubles to internal conflict within the Congress party. Kumaraswamy claimed that Siddaramaiah’s predicament is a result of self-inflicted political missteps rather than opposition tactics.

Kumaraswamy stated that Siddaramaiah had previously suggested that rival parties were conspiring against him, but recent events have revealed that the real sabotage is coming from within his own party. "Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had earlier claimed that opposition forces were working against him. Now it is clear that the machinations are from within his own camp," Kumaraswamy said.

The Congress party’s internal strife, coupled with alleged corruption, has contributed to Siddaramaiah’s current situation, according to Kumaraswamy. He criticized the Congress government for engaging in corruption from the first day of its tenure, accusing it of allowing contractor extortion and failing to address developmental issues effectively.

Kumaraswamy also condemned the Congress party for its ineffective governance, stating that development in the state has been stymied. He criticized the Congress for failing to address crucial issues such as infrastructure and disaster management, and claimed that the government’s inability to manage basic civic issues like potholes reflects poorly on its administration.

The minister expressed concern that Karnataka might face a situation similar to Himachal Pradesh, where the Congress government’s promises have led to economic difficulties. Kumaraswamy warned that Karnataka could face a similar fate if the current administration continues on its path.

Additionally, Kumaraswamy clarified that his approval of the Deodari mining project near Bellary was limited to financial assurances for a specific mining company, countering claims that he had sanctioned the entire project. He accused the Congress government of spreading misinformation regarding this issue.

As Karnataka approaches significant political and developmental crossroads, Kumaraswamy’s statements underscore growing discontent and highlight the challenges facing the current administration.
