Bomb Threats Continue to Disrupt Delhi Airport, Three Flights Safely Landed Amid Heightened Security  

Delhi Airport remains on high alert as bomb threats to multiple flights have continued during the festive season. Three flights, including those from Indigo, Air India Express, and Vistara Airlines, received bomb threats today, prompting emergency landings. Security forces conducted thorough checks but found nothing suspicious. This comes as over 70 flights have received similar threats since Monday. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with security agencies to ensure passenger safety.  

Over 70 Bomb Threats Target Flights During Festive Season, Security Tightened at Delhi Airport  

Since Monday, more than 70 flights, including those operated by Indigo and Air India Express, have been targeted with bomb threats during the festive season. On Tuesday, an Air India Express flight (IX-196) from Dubai to Jaipur, carrying 189 passengers, received a bomb threat. After the flight safely landed in Jaipur, security teams conducted an extensive search but found no suspicious items. The increasing frequency of these threats has put security agencies on high alert, and they continue to investigate the source of these calls.

In response to the surge in bomb threats during the festive season, security agencies are maintaining a heightened state of vigilance at Delhi Airport and across India. With over 70 threats to flights since the beginning of the week, including today’s bomb scare involving an Air India Express flight, passengers are on edge. While no suspicious objects have been found so far, investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators behind these alarming calls.
