In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police’s Special Cell has seized over 500 kg of cocaine worth approximately ₹2,000 crore, marking one of the largest drug busts in recent history. Four individuals, including key members of an international drug syndicate, have been arrested. The arrested suspects include Tushar Goyal from Vasant Vihar, and his accomplices Himanshu and Aurangzeb, along with receiver Bharat Jain from Kurla West.

The bust took place when the suspects were caught delivering a supply of 15 kg of cocaine to the receiver at a warehouse in Mahipalpur Extension. Further investigation revealed a large stock of cocaine and marijuana at the warehouse. According to Additional Commissioner of Police Pramod Singh Kushwaha, the drug operation is believed to be controlled from the Middle East, with a key handler directing the syndicate.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities examining links to narco-terrorism. This bust underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat international drug trafficking. The massive cocaine haul is considered the largest in recent times and highlights the growing threat of drug syndicates in India.
