Goa: An Air India flight bound for Mumbai had to abort its take-off at Goa's Dabolim airport early Wednesday morning following a bird strike, according to airport officials.
The incident occurred at around 6:45 AM, when the aircraft, which was scheduled to depart from Dabolim airport in South Goa, encountered a bird hit on the runway. A senior airport official confirmed that the take-off was immediately halted as a precaution.
"The aircraft is currently parked in the bay, and further investigations are underway," the official added.
