Gujarat: Heavy rains cause flooding in several areas, roads washed away [Video]

Dwarka, Gujarat: The rain gods have made a spectacular appearance in the Devbhoomi Dwarka district, bringing significant rainfall to the region. Khambhaliya received 45mm of rain, Kalyanpur recorded 32mm, and Bhanvad saw 5mm of rainfall.

The continuous downpour has flooded the fields with rainwater, benefiting the agricultural lands. However, the heavy rains have also caused disruptions. Several roads connecting villages in Kalyanpur Taluka have been washed away due to the intense rainfall.

The rainy weather has led to severe road erosion in Kalyanpur Taluka. The rivers between Haripur and Paneli villages are overflowing, causing flooding in these areas. The rivers in Kalyanpur Taluka are now flowing at full capacity, affecting local transportation and connectivity.

Residents are advised to exercise caution and stay informed about the weather conditions as the authorities work to manage the impact of the heavy rainfall on infrastructure and daily life.
