On September 15, Akshat Garg was riding his motorcycle when a Mahindra XUV 3XO, driving on the wrong side of the road, collided head-on with him in the DLF Phase-II area. The video from a friend’s action camera, now widely circulated, shows Garg taking a slight turn before the high-speed impact, which threw him off his bike and severely damaged the SUV.
Mother’s Outcry for Justice:
Garg’s grieving mother has demanded justice, questioning the police for releasing the SUV driver on bail. "My son is gone, and the person responsible slept peacefully that night. Why are the police not helping us?" she said, expressing deep frustration over the situation.

DLF Phase-II SHO Sandeep Kumar confirmed that an FIR was filed based on a complaint by Pradhuman, a friend of the victim. While Garg’s body was handed over to his family after a post-mortem, the family has yet to request additional charges, and police say they are open to adding more charges if necessary.
