Gurugram News: Property dealer shot at, friend beaten in alleged monetary dispute

In the early hours of Tuesday, a property dealer was shot, and his friend was beaten by unidentified individuals in Gurugram, reportedly over a monetary dispute, according to police reports.

The victims, identified as Raj Kumar Sehrawat, a property dealer, and his friend Sachin Gulati, had gone to meet another property dealer named Deepak at his office in Daultabad.

Around 2 am, an argument erupted between Sehrawat, Gulati, and several other men over financial matters. The confrontation escalated, resulting in one of the assailants shooting Sehrawat in the leg. Meanwhile, the other attackers assaulted Gulati with sticks before fleeing the scene.

Both victims were promptly taken to the hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

Based on Sehrawat's complaint, an FIR has been filed at Rajendra Park police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the unidentified attackers. Assistant Commissioner of Police Naveen Kumar confirmed that an investigation is ongoing to apprehend the culprits.
