Hyderabad: Eight-Month-Old Baby Dies During Flight from Patna to Bengaluru Despite Emergency Landing

HYDERABAD: An eight-month-old baby boy, flying with his parents from Patna to Bengaluru for medical treatment, tragically passed away earlier this week, as reported by Deccan Chronicle. The flight was diverted for an emergency landing at Shamshabad, but the efforts were insufficient to save the child. The incident took place on July 24 and was reported on Friday.

According to RGIA sub-inspector Appa Rao, Rimmy and Narayan Ghosh were traveling with their son Rudransh to Bengaluru for treatment of the toddler’s heart disease. During the flight, Rudransh began experiencing severe breathing difficulties, prompting his parents to alert the flight crew.

"The aircraft had to make an emergency landing, and the boy was shifted to Apollo Hospitals at around 2 pm, where the doctors declared him dead," stated the sub-inspector. Despite the flight crew's attempts to provide first aid, their efforts could not save the baby.
