Pune Cooking Brawl Turns Fatal: One Killed Over Kitchen Tiff in Pimpri Chinchwad
Pune, India: In yet another incident of the bizarre, a cooking brawl went fatal in the Pimpri Chinchwad area of Pune when an argument over food over-cooked into murder. Young Dipu Kumar, Mukesh Hira Kushwaha's coworker at work, lost his life in the fracas for which Kushwaha is held responsible.
Police said Kushwaha and Kumar were among four workers of VKV Company, Chinchwad, and they all had been staying in a common accommodation provided by the company. The men used to prepare food in the same place.

Kumar was in Chinchwad for barely two months to work, having been drawn there from his economically distressed family. The living arrangements necessitated all five men to be cooking and eating at the place of work. It was over the preparations for Friday night's meal that the fight broke out between Kushwaha and Kumar, which had cooled down but erupted again in the wee hours of Saturday.
Around 1 am on Saturday, as Kumar lay sleeping by the side of two other workers, Kushwaha, still incensed by the argument, allegedly attacked Kumar with an iron rod. According to police, Kushwaha delivered 11 blows to Kumar over a period of 20 seconds, targeting his head directly. The gruesome crime, fully recorded by CCTV cameras of the company, left the victim critically wounded.
That really proves the surveillance footage-the right evidence for Pimpri police to catch Kushwaha.
