Telangana: Teacher Cuts Hair of 15 Students As Punishment, Suspended

Khammam District, Telangana: In a controversial incident at Peruvamcha High School in Kalluru Mandal, an English teacher named Shirisha cut the hair of 15 students for coming to school with long hair. This action left the students feeling humiliated due to the partial haircuts they received.

Upon returning home, the parents were shocked to see their children's haircuts and immediately went to the school to confront the teacher. Shirisha explained that she had repeatedly asked the students to get haircuts, but they had not complied.

The concerned parents questioned Shirisha, asking if she would take responsibility if the children did something drastic out of humiliation. Realizing the gravity of her actions, Shirisha apologized to the students' parents.

The issue escalated when the parents lodged a complaint with the higher authorities of the education department. Following the complaint, the education authorities decided to suspend teacher Shirisha, addressing the parents' grievances and taking disciplinary action against her.
