Ajith Kumar has suggested that no action will be taken against police officials involved in the recent Thrissur Pooram incident. The report does, however, indicate that Thrissur City Police Commissioner Ankit Ashokan failed in his duties during the event.
While the report notes that Ashokan committed errors, it refrains from recommending disciplinary measures against him. Instead, it focuses on recommending changes to the organization and management of the Pooram festival.
In the wake of controversies surrounding the event, Ashokan was transferred following the Lok Sabha elections. The report cited his inexperience and lack of diplomatic behavior as contributing factors to the issues that arose during the festival.
