Tirupati: Techie Kills Three Family Members, Self; Is Forced Marriage To Brother's Wife The Cause?

Tirupati: In a tragic event on Wednesday night in Muni Reddy Nagar, near Sri Padmavati Women's University in Tirupati, a software engineer named Mohan fatally stabbed three members of his family before taking his own life. The victims have been identified as Gudimetla Sunita and her two daughters, Devi Sri and Neeraja. Authorities believe that family disputes led to this devastating incident.

According to the SV University Police, the conflict stemmed from Mohan's forced marriage to his brother Doss's wife, Sunita. The marriage eventually ended in separation due to ongoing disagreements between Mohan and Sunita. Efforts by Doss and Sunita to mediate and reconcile the couple may have intensified the tensions between the brothers. 

Police suggest that the accumulated pressure and frustration drove Mohan to commit the murders-suicide. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations, and a detailed investigation is underway to confirm the sequence of events and the motive behind the act.
