UP News: Mathura Police Bust ATM Card Swapping Gang, Seize Weapons and Cash
Mathura, Uttar Pradesh: In a significant breakthrough, the Sadar Bazaar Police in Mathura have arrested a gang involved in swapping ATM cards and committing fraud by withdrawing money from victims' accounts. The police had been receiving numerous complaints from victims about their ATM cards being swapped and money being withdrawn from their accounts.
Acting on these complaints, the police conducted a thorough investigation, which led to the identification and subsequent arrest of several gang members. Among those arrested are Kailash and Pankaj, residents of Bulandshahr, and Ankur, a resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
During the arrest, the police also seized a Hyundai Accent car from the gang. Additionally, they recovered 102 ATM cards from various banks, three mobile phones, ₹4,900 in cash, two country-made pistols, and cartridges from the possession of the accused.

The police are currently investigating further to uncover more members of this gang and to determine the extent of their network. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend other individuals connected to this fraudulent operation.
