Delhi is taking a strong step to reduce air pollution by cracking down on old petrol and diesel vehicles. This new system will be first implemented at 52 entry points into Delhi. This means that all vehicles entering the city will be monitored. This applies not just to Delhi-registered vehicles but also to those from other states.
The e-detection system is designed to improve air quality by targeting vehicles that contribute significantly to pollution.
