Gold price today: Amid the gold rush during the wedding season in the country, the prices of yellow metal jumped on Thursday, December 22. The rate of 24-carat gold (10 gram) saw an increase of Rs 540 and the precious metal was selling at Rs 54,650. Meanwhile, silver prices too witnessed an upward trend on Thursday.

According to the GoodReturns website, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold is up Rs 500 and the yellow metal is trending at Rs 50,100 today. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold is Rs 54,650, up Rs 540.

Silver is selling at Rs 70,100 per kg, a jump of Rs 800, on Thursday, December 22, 2022. In Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata, the price of 1 Kg silver is Rs 70,100, while the precious metal is trading at Rs 74,700 per kg in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
