Market cap of 8 stocks increases by Rs 81,251 crore

Eight top-most valued companies have added Rs 81,250.83 crore to the market valuation last week closed on Friday.

While Tata Consultancy services emerged as the biggest gainer, Reliance Industries Ltd and Infosys met with a loss in the market capitalization for the week.

The eight companies that emerged as the gainer include Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Finance, and State Bank of India.

The Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) jumped Rs 34,623.12 core to achieve a market valuation of Rs 11,58,542.89 crore, while Hindustan Unilever added Rs 13,897.69 crore to reach Rs 5,66,950.71 crore market valuation.

The HDFC gained Rs 13,728.03 crore to secure market valuation of Rs 4,50,310.13 crore. The Kotak Mahindra Bank gained Rs 6,213.06 crore to reach Rs 3,52,756.84 crore market valuation.

While the market capitalization of ICICI Bank grew to 4,19,776.85 crore from 4,428.5 crores, the State Bank of India jumped Rs 4,239.2 to reach a 3,19,679.59 crore market valuation.

Bajaj Finance Ltd’s market valuation rose to 3,31,436.67 crore from
Rs 2,797.59 crore. The HDFC saw an addition of Rs 1,323.64 to Rs 7,80,174.61 crore.

On the other hand, Reliance Industries’ valuation decreased Rs 40,033,57 crore to Rs 12,24,336.42 crore. At the same time, Infosys witnessed a decline of Rs 639.11 crore to reach ₹5,76,228.85 crore.
