For the tenth time Petrol and diesel prices were again raised on Friday. The revision in fuel rates comes as per the price notification by the oil retailers.
This time the fuel rates have breached all records. As per the latest revision petrol in Delhi will now stand at Rs96.93 per litre. While diesel is currently retailing at Rs 87.69. In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 103.08 per litre and for diesel, consumers will have to pay Rs 95.14 per litre.
Chennai also recorded an increase in petrol rising to Rs 98.14 per litre and diesel for Rs 92.31. In Kolkata, petrol was sold at Rs 96.84 per litre and diesel at Rs 90.54 per litre following the price rise on the day.
In Bengaluru the fuel price has crossed the Rs 100-mark. As petrol price now stands at Rs 100.17 and diesel at Rs 92.97.
In Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district, people have to pay the most for fuel as petrol is priced at Rs 108.07 a litre and diesel Rs 100.82. Petrol is being sold at over Rs 100 in seven states and UTs of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Ladakh.
