A court for PMLA court on February 12, 2021, granted bail to Former ICICI CEO and MD Chanda Kochhar in the Videocon money laundering case.
Earlier on January 30, 2021, the court for Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) had issued summons to Chanda Kochhar, Deepak Kochhar, Venugopal Dhoot, and others accused in the case.

Before summoning the accused the court had gone through the charge sheet issued by the Enforcement Directorate.
Complying with the court’s order, Chanda Kochhar appeared before judge AA Nandgoankar who granted her bail after receiving an application from her lawyer Vijay Agarwal.
