SBI Alert: Update KYC or your account will be frozen after May 31

The State Bank of India (SBI) issued a new notification for its customers across India. As per the SBI, all account holders will have to update their account’s KYC without delay.

SBI has crores of customers across the country. If customers fail to update their KYC, within the timeframe, then their banking services will be frozen.

SBI shared this information on its official Twitter handle. It asks the customers to update KYC by 31 May 2021.

For doing the same, SBI customers can take their KYC document and go to the home branch or their nearest branch.

In the wake of coronavirus, the bank has extended this facility till 31 May. For all those who do not want to go to the bank can do the same via post or email.
