Recent Stock Market Performance
Indian stock market indices, meanwhile, showed mixed trends on Tuesday as the BSE Sensex gained 0.31 percent to close at 77,578.38 while the Nifty 50 was up 0.28 percent at 23,518.50. Despite early gains, Nifty ended with a red-bodied candle and a long upper wick on the daily chart, reflecting bearish sentiments.

The Nifty has entered correction territory, falling about 10 per cent from its September 27 peak of 26,277. If the fall reaches 20%, the market would officially enter bear market territory.

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) Outlook

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) continue to exit Indian markets. In the first half of November alone, FPIs withdrew Rs 22,420 crore, after significant outflows in October. That bearish sentiment mirrors cautious market dynamics amidst global and domestic uncertainties.
