Delhi HC grants Bail to JNU, Jamia Students; Twitter reacts

Delhi High Court on June 15, 2021, granted bail to two Jawaharlal Nehru University students and one Jamia Millia Islamia student.

The three students Natasha Narwal, Devangana Kalita, and Asif Iqbal Tanha were arrested under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in May last year.

The case belongs to a conspiracy in northeast Delhi riots in February last year. Minutes after Delhi HC’s order, twitter began to get the response of the development from the people.

While some opposed the decision of the court, others said that the students were wrongly targeted.
