In what could be seen as a major relief to the unemployed youth of the state, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has ordered the Chief Secretary to fill all vacant posts available in various departments of the government.
He took stock of the vacancies available in various departments in a review meeting held after his three-day visit ended. The Chief Secretary and other senior officers were present in the review meeting held after Chief Minister returned from Delhi on December 13, 2020.
Giving details about the job opportunities available in various departments of the government, the Chief Minister said, “The primary information suggests that there are about 50,000 vacancies in the state in several departments. We have to fill them up. Teachers and police have to be recruited in thousands.”
During the meeting, he asked the officers to collect details about the vacant posts available in teaching, policing, and other departments in the state.
According to sources, the Chief Minister also directed officers to assess the number of employees required in the various department of the government.
He also said that if any additional staff and officers were required in any of the departments, those additional vacancies also be included in the recruitment notifications.
