All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has asked states to complete the admission process of engineering courses by December 31, 2020.
The reason behind the last date extension has also been communicated through a circular released on December 3, 2020. In the circular, the delay in CET results in some of the states has been held responsible for the organisation’s decision to extend the last date.
AICTE engineering admission: Reason behind the decision
The decision to extend the last dates comes after some of the states asked AICTE to extend the last date to complete the process for admissions in the engineering courses. The decision will be applicable only in those states where the CET results were delayed because of the pandemic.
