AILET 2025: Test Centres Excluded in Four Cities
The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, has issued an important notification about the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. In light of low registration of candidates, test centres would not be opened at four cities: Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri. Candidates who have chosen these cities as their first preference must update the preference of the test city before the exam.
Important Information:
Test Centres Update: In cities having less than 100 candidates, NLU will not open a test centre. The affected candidates will be allotted the centers based on their second or third preference. AILET 2025 Exam Dates: The exam will be conducted on December 8, 2024, between 2 PM to 4 PM. The admit cards will be available on November 28, 2024.
Registration Deadline: Candidates must complete their registration by November 18, 2024 to be eligible for AILET 2025.
Exam Cities:
The exam will be held across various cities, including Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Raipur, Varanasi, and more. A complete list of exam cities is available on the official NLU Delhi website.
Eligibility Criteria:
Undergraduate
BA LLB
Minimum Senior Secondary School 10 +2 or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate marks from a recognized university. 2025 Class 12 applicants also eligible
Postgraduate
LLM
LLB or equivalent degree with aggregate percentage of at least 55% of marks. Final year students in LLB may also apply.
PhD: Candidates who have achieved a Bachelor's and Master's degree in relevant Social Sciences or Humanities with 55% marks can apply.
