CBSE Class 10, 12 board 2021: The Central Board Secondary Education clarified that it is yet to finalise the schedule of CBSE Class 10,12 Board Exams 2021. It had to release a letter to clarify the exam schedule after several social media posts claimed that the exams would be held in March.
The board also asked students and their parents not to trust such claims being made on social media.
A few days ago on December 10, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal held a webinar in which he answered the queries of the students and hinted about the changes in the board exams this year.
He clearly stated that CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 may not be held in March if the COVID-19 is not curbed.
He also hinted at the possibility of an alternative to practical exams in 2021 because of the closure of schools across the country after the COVID-19 outbreak.
Also in the question papers, several changes are expected in 2021. It may include more application-based and objective type questions.
Talking about changes, he had assured students of sufficient time to prepare for the examinations.
“CBSE is well aware of the condition of students and parents in the time of pandemic and, therefore, whatsoever decision would be taken by the CBSE that will only be taken after consultation with all the stakeholders and will be communicated at an appropriate time through Board website,” said the CBSE in its latest circular.
