CMAT 2025 Exam on Jan 25: Timings, Cut-Off Trends, and Key Instructions

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2025), organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is set for January 25, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts, with the first shift from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the second from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This MBA entrance test is a gateway for admission to AICTE-affiliated universities and participating institutions.
Exam Day Essentials
Candidates must bring the following to the exam center:
- CMAT 2025 admit card
- Self-declaration form
- Valid photo ID
- One passport-sized photo
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the test.
CMAT 2025 Question Paper Format
The CMAT question paper consists of five sections:
- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
- Logical Reasoning
- Language Comprehension
- General Awareness
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Each section contains 20 questions, with each question worth 4 points, totaling 400 marks.
Exam Day Guidelines
The NTA has outlined the following rules on its official website:
- Arrive at the exam center at least two hours early.
- Registration desks will close 1.5 hours after gates open.
- Changing seats or rooms during the exam is prohibited and will be considered unfair means.
- Bags are not allowed in the center, and the NTA is not responsible for lost items.
- Candidates cannot leave the hall until the exam concludes.
- Rough work must be done only on sheets provided at the center, which must be returned after the exam.
