JEE Advanced 2025: Good News for Aspirants as Attempt Limit Expands!

JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Kanpur has expanded the attempt limit to three times over three consecutive years. Candidates born on or after October 1, 2000, with Class XII in 2023-2025 are eligible. JEE Main will be held in January and April 2025.
 
JEE Advanced 2025: Good News for Aspirants as Attempt Limit Expands!

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kanpur has announced a big decision, on November 5, related to JEE Advanced 2025. A student can now appear for the JEE Advanced three times in three consecutive years against an earlier two attempts in two years. According to the official notice, "A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of three times in three consecutive years."

Age Criteria for JEE Advanced 2025

A candidate should be born on or after October 1, 2000.

JEE Advanced Eligibility

Candidates must have taken Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2023, 2024 or 2025 and must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The most pertinent thing to note here is that the candidate who had appeared for Class XII examination before 2023 does not qualify for JEE Advanced 2025. An exemption for students whose results for the year 2021-22 came out on or after September 21, 2022, has been given. Such students are also eligible provided they fulfill all other prerequisites.

Schedule of JEE Main 2025 is Finally Out

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the schedule for JEE Main 2025. The examination would be conducted in two phases-January 22-31, 2025, and April 2025.
