'Let's Go Digital' Project launched for higher education institutions in Kerala

The higher education institutions will use the digital path to continue study in Kerala. This comes in response to the current COVID-19 situation, which is not fit for physical classes.

Recently, the state government constituted a special committee to roll out digital education in colleges and universities.

According to an official statement, the Higher Education Department has issued orders to implement the “Let’s Go Digital” project. The Higher Education Department is also setting up a committee for the implementation of the project.

The committee would include 19 members including eminent academicians like Rajan Gurukkla, Saji Gopinath, and V Venu. The Higher Education Minister R Bindhu would be the chairperson of this committee.

According to the official statement, the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) would be ensured at institutions. The system would provide the required Cloud to impart training to teachers and students in digital learning. The committee is likely to start its operation soon, the official sources said.
