This year, the record-breaking registration for PPC reaches 3.5 crore students, which include students both from India and abroad. Such massive participation will testify to the event's growing popularity as the transforming face of education. The venue this year for this town hall type interaction is the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. There, around 2,500 handpicked students will attend this in-person meet-up, all receiving exclusive kits from the Ministry of Education at PPC. Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 will try to bring down the anxiety level of students appearing for exams by changing the cultural perception of exams. It motivates students to treat exams as a chance for growth rather than a cause of stress. This year, the program includes interactive activities and competitions, including an online MCQ contest in which winners will be able to directly interact with the Prime Minister.
The event also coincides with important dates such as National Youth Day and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti. The school-level activities are scheduled from January 12 to January 23, 2025. The activities will be conducted to foster resilience, mental well-being, and holistic development among students.
Beyond the immediate goals of Pariksha Pe Charcha, it signifies a larger cultural shift. This is because, in making education an "Utsav" or festival, it focuses on the development of life skills, mental well-being, and the implementation of knowledge into real life. It makes people look at education as a process of lifelong discovery and growth and not just an exam preparation routine.
This innovative approach will, in fact, make PPC 2025 one of the greatest impacts that could be created about examinations and education in India. This is a move towards making education stress-free, inclusive, and celebratory.
