PM Modi To Inaugurate 9 New Medical Colleges In Uttar Pradesh Today

New Delhi: On October 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate nine new medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh (UP), during the visit to the state. PM Modi will inaugurate the medical colleges from Siddharthnagar and launch the Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana in Varanasi, at around 1:15 pm, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) statement said.

Nine new medical colleges to be inaugurated by PM Modi, are situated in Etah, Hardoi, Deoria, Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Jaunpur, and Siddharthnagar districts.

Prime Minister Modi will also launch Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana (PMASBY) at around 1:15 pm in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Also, PM Modi will be inaugurating various projects worth more than Rs 5200 crore for the development of Varanasi.

According to the official reports, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will also be present during this event.

Under three phases of the Scheme, 157 new medical colleges have been approved all over India, out of which 63 medical colleges are already functional.
