The Ministry of Railways has allowed students appearing for the Maharashtra State Board examination to travel on the local train until December 10, 2020.
The Ministry has issued a notice especially for those who need to travel on the local train for exams in Maharashtra. This came after the Government of Maharashtra requested the center. Those who need to travel for the exams will have to carry identity proof, admit card for the exam for Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education Examinations.
The documents will be checked when the students enter the railway station. The Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has granted permission only to the teaching and non-teaching staff to use train service.
Other than teaching and non-teaching staffs have been requested by the State Government not to rush to the stations. The Ministry of Railways has approved it. During their journey, the teaching and non-teaching staff will have to follow the preventive measures against Covid-19.
