Accused in Saif Ali Khan Attack Previously Broke Into His Home, Five Shocking Revelations Unveiled

The recent attack on Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan has sent shockwaves down the entertainment industry. On January 16, a man forcefully entered Saif's residence in Bandra, leading to a harrowing attack. The accused, Mohammed Shariful Islam Shahzad, also known as Vijay Das, has been apprehended by authorities. This case has taken a dramatic turn as the police have unveiled five startling revelations about the accused's previous interaction with Saif's household.

1. Previous Attempted Burglary at Saif Ali Khan's House

The incident that occurred during Saif Ali Khan's election campaign was not an isolated incident. Shahzad had attempted to burglarize Saif's house earlier with the intention of committing theft. On the day of the attack, Shahzad found that the security guard outside Saif's house was sleeping. He took the opportunity and climbed up to the 11th floor, went through a duct shaft, and was able to penetrate Saif's flat. Upon entering, he hid in the children's room, but surprised Saif when he woke up, showing that he had bad intentions.

2. Access through a Housekeeping Agency

Investigation had proved that Shahzad was legitimate user of the house of Saif as he used to clean at the place which was organized by the assistant of Saif named Hari Giri. Using that access Shahzad familiarized himself with the house plan and security, that made easier his assault afterwards.

3. Usage of Many Nicknames in order to Disguise Himself

One of the most shocking discoveries made by the police is that Shahzad uses multiple aliases. His real name is Shahzad, but he has been known to use other names such as Vijay Das, Vijay Ilyas, and BJ. This deliberate use of different identities was aimed at evading detection and complicating the investigation process. Despite these efforts, the authorities were able to piece together his true identity through diligent investigative work.

4. Possible Non-Indian Residency and Lack of Documentation

Adding to the complexities of the case is the news that Shahzad is not an Indian national. Police sources claim that he does not possess any valid Indian documents, thus indicating him to be a Bangladeshi national. The implications of such an eventuality are extremely serious as far as border security is concerned. This indicates how easily anyone can enter the country without proper documentation, thereby raising very serious security issues.

5. Successful Police Investigation Resulting in Arrest

The arrest of Shahzad reveals the efficiency of the investigation techniques of the Mumbai police. At first, the police had difficulty in tracking him down, but with a combination of bike registration numbers, mobile tracking, and CCTV footage, they could finally track Shahzad. On January 18, after an intense search, Shahzad was arrested in the Ghorbandar area of Thane. The CCTV footage was an important evidence where Shahzad is seen leaving Saif's house, and he was identified and arrested due to this footage.

Police Statement and Future Proceedings

DCMP Dikshit Gedam of the Mumbai Police made a press conference to announce his arrest. "A case has been filed against Shahzad for attempted theft and attack on Saif Ali Khan. After the necessary evidence collection, we could detain him. Once the facts come out during trial, legal repercussions will follow." Gedam further added, "The point about Shahzad not staying here is related to international lapses in security and needs a change.".
