Akshay Kumar Breaks Silence on Recent Box Office Flops
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has been going through a difficult time professionally as a number of his most recent movies have not performed well at the box office. The star has now openly discussed how films like Sarfira, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Selfiee, and Setu did not have the desired effect on viewers.
Akshay Kumar’s Honest Reaction to Recent Failures
Akshay Kumar opened up about the recent setback in his career at the trailer launch for his forthcoming movie Khel Khel Mein on Friday in Mumbai. The actor expressed his sadness while also demonstrating his fortitude and resolve to carry on with his career in spite of the negative feedback.
Kumar said, "I don't think too much about it," in reference to the recent box office failures. Yes, a couple of my movies haven't done well. But I get so many letters of concern and sorrow. I feel like I'm getting funeral cards from folks saying things like, "Sorry, yaar, fikar mat kar" (don't worry, mate). He added a humorous comment, saying, "I'm not dead!" to the scenario.
The statement made by a journalist that said Akshay Kumar will eventually return surprised him the most. "A journalist even wrote,'relax, you will return.'" I questioned him why he was writing that when I gave him a call. How did I get away? He reiterated, "I am here, and I will not stop working.
"Main hamesha kaam karte rahunga, chahe log kuch bhi bole" (I will continue working, no matter what people say) is the actor's declaration of commitment to his craft. I get up in the morning, work out, head out to work, and come home. All of the money I make comes from my own labor. I'll never turn to anyone for assistance. Until they shoot me down, I will not stop working.
Box Office Flops and Future Projects
Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Selfiee, and Mission Raniganj are just a few of Akshay Kumar's recent films that have failed to hold the attention of viewers and are even regarded as big failures. Despite having a large budget, his most recent movie, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, did poorly at the box office.
Kumar remains optimistic about his impending release, Khel Khel Mein, in spite of these obstacles. A star-studded cast including Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal can be seen in the Mudassar Aziz-directed movie. August 15 is the scheduled release date of the film, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashwin Varde, Vipul D. Shah, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai.
Fans and industry observers will be eager to see if Akshay Kumar's latest film will break his recent run of box office failures. As he gets ready for the premiere of Khel Khel Mein, his perseverance and dedication to his job remain clear.
