Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, known for his smart investments, has turned a profit in the real estate market. Selling his Mumbai apartment at a time when his new film Sky Force is about to hit the screens, Kumar has sold it at a markup of a whopping 78%.
Real Estate Deal at a Glance
The apartment that he sold recently was in Sky City, which is a product of Oberoi Realty, in the locality of Borivali West. Akshay had purchased this property for ₹2.38 crore back in November 2017. That was a two-parking property with a carpet area of 1,073 square feet. He sold this property recently for ₹4.25 crore, or more than doubling his investment in it. On the sale transaction, he incurred stamp duty and registration fees at ₹25.5 lakh and ₹30,000, respectively.
